California is an example of the consequences of powerful Municipal Unions. Members cannot be fired, they do not accept that the State cannot meet their demand for higher wages, they cannot be laid off, their retirenent incomes are in the six figures.
The Federal Government employee’s have wages that are 20% more than the private sector. Obama has hired many new employee’s as part of the stimulus program.The problem is that they do not provide goods and services to promote the economy. More parasites to contend with.

California has been fascinating to watch. I know there are some citizen groups trying to turn things around, but it’ll be tough. They are probably outnumbered by union works, ultra-liberals, and illegals. Think I’d have packed my bags and left a long time ago.
